Historia
Desde la segunda mitad de los 70 hasta su final, Queen se mantuvo en lo más alto. Su reconocimiento a nivel mundial llegó en 1976 con el álbum "A Night At The Opera". Entre los temas más conocidos de Queen (muchos de ellos números uno) se encuentran Bohemian Rhapsody, Love of My Life, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Somebody To Love, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, A Kind Of Magic, Innuendo, Under Pressure y Killer Queen.
El 24 de noviembre de 1991 muere Freddie Mercury de SIDA. En abril de 1992 se le tributa un masivo concierto homenaje en el estadio de Wembley (Londres) retransmitido en directo a nivel mundial y que sirve como plataforma para la concienciación del problema del virus.
Los miembros Brian May y Roger Taylor han continuado carreras en solitario, ejerciendo además como productores de teatro junto con Robert de Niro para realizar la opera-rock "We Will Rock You", obra ambientada en un mundo futurista donde no quedan vestigios de lo que fue el rock.
Este año 2005, los miembros del grupo Brian May y Roger Taylor han iniciado una gira por todo el mundo junto a Paul Rodgers, ex-cantante de Free y Good Company.
